COVID-19 Update

The purpose of this post it to provide an update of our current position in relation to the outbreak and spread of COVID-19. We will keep this page updated if and when this position changes.

We’ve launched a number of online courses and are also able to deliver any course on our website as an in-house virtual (online) course. We hope this will be a viable alternative for ensuring delegates still get the skills they need during this time.

Last Updated: 18th March 2020

Like many other business, we are monitoring the latest advice and guidance from the Government and Public Health England and doing what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19

On the 16th of March 2020 we added some flexibility to our booking terms and conditions. Our current terms and condition state that when there are 14 days or less to the course date, bookings cannot be transferred or cancelled (100% fee). This is the case for both open course bookings and in-house course bookings.

For the foreseeable future we will remove the clause relating to courses being changed. This means we will move a course booking to an alternative date to some point in the future without charge. The cancellation clause will however stay in place. This only applies to in-house and classroom open courses. The terms for online training courses are still in place.

On the 18th of March we took the difficult decision to suspend our open training course schedule until the 30th of April. We contacted all clients who have booking up until that date and offered them various options. We made the decision as many clients understandably wanted to postpone training, and we could see a number of last minute cancellations occurring. Thanks to everyone who we have spoken with for your understanding and flexibility.

We will review the schedule after the 30th of April in the coming weeks.

Our trainers have been fully briefed on their requirements and are ensuring that they are following all of the preventative advice provided. If a trainer shows any symptoms of the virus then they will self-isolate.

We are also contacting all delegates prior to their booking to ask them to assess whether they should attend courses.

Our open courses are designed for smaller groups of people. We limit the number of attendees to around 8 people as standard and this will help maintain minimum contact with others.

We are also working closely with the venues that we use to ensure they are doing all they can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will monitor each venue to ensure they are providing a safe an environment as possible for delegates to attend. We will brief delegates on arrival of what the venue is doing and anything they would like visitors to follow.

We are taking guidance from our clients on their internal processes for dealing with the spread and will adhere to any instructions that they provide.
